Shadow Work Media is a BIPOC media organization that supports the leadership and collaborative storytelling by queers, trans people and immigrants of color for building movements, shifting narratives and transforming communities Shadow Work Media is dedicated to empowering our communities, fighting for liberation for all, and unearthing resilient stories for the future generation of freedom fighters. We center trans, immigrant, and intergenerational voices who often don't have access to technology and modes of production. We collaborate intentionally with the people most impacted by the issues, who offer solutions based on lived experience. We are committed to skill-building, training and professional development of queer, trans, immigrant, and BIPOC cultural workers, writers and artists in media-making skills to create sustainable industry design and communication jobs.
