About Shady Lane
What began in 1951 as a retirement home has evolved into a senior living facility providing a continuum of care. Shady Lane's assisted living, skilled nursing center, rehab center, and memory care unit have all developed in response to our community's needs. Our board lives here and they care. This is what makes Shady Lane a community asset- we belong to Manitowoc County and have the advantage of working under the direction of visionary leaders allowing us to adapt to Manitowoc's needs. Being a not-for-profit organization affects the quality of our care with any profits going right back into the facility, making it a better place and value. We strive to offer excellent care, a variety of prices, and affordable senior living accommodations, so our citizens can live in their community with dignity and respect.
