About SHAG! Salon London

Our flagship salon has focused on using Davines, high quality, sustainable products for our whole range of shampoos, styling products and colour range. We pride ourselves on being an anti-conveyor belt salon in that we book a long time for each service and don't have more than one client in at the same time- which we believe has lead to our success as our clients and stylists feel no anxiety when in our space and it has become a much more social and relaxed environment thanks to that. For stylists, the options are available to rent a chair space or work on a very high comission package as we are trying to push for fair pay to stylists instead of only the top people in the company taking the higher percentage. We welcome everyone, no matter gender, ethnicity or hair type! Our future goals are to run more education from our space, from the directors and from external stylists as this is the best way to stay up to date on trends and always keep a passion for the job! We also aim to become more and more sustainable, with an aim to become BCorp certified in the future, as we already have some very innovative products and waste management in the salon to ensure we are pushing for as much sustainable practice as is possible. We chose a studio space rather than a high street salon as we believe it feels like a cosier, more welcoming experience as the space is much more serene and private- which also suits some of our more high profile clientele.
