About Shaggy Dog Press
With over 25 years of experience creating fun visuals, Michael Quackenbush is the founder of Shaggy Dog Press. He was Creative Director at Avanti Press for 22 years where he helped build one of the strongest selling collection of greeting cards in the industry. His sense of humor, conceptual abilities and love of animals is represented in the hundreds and hundreds of visuals in the marketplace. Michael is now creating a growing collection of pooch, kitty, kid, critter and funny folk illustrations under the Shaggy Dog Press banner for use in a variety of industries and products. The “Shaggy Dog” of Shaggy Dog Press are Michael’s Jack Russell terriers Scooter and Pee Wee. We create contemporary illustrations which convey a sense of fun, optimism and even a little irreverence, but always embodied in an attitude of joy for living.
