About ShagowAskee Foundation

ShagowAskee means untouched wilderness. ShagowAskee as a company has always been here. It embodies the values and respect of the Native ways. ShagowAskee Group is comprised of two entities. ShagowAskee Foundation is the not-for-profit entity and ShagowAskee 4ustree Inc. is the for-profit entity. As a group we want to build a bridge between nature and the rest of the world using indigenous knowledge. We are currently working on building such bridges in areas of conservation, forestry, geospatial intelligence, insurance, and forest fire risk mitigation and management. We want to protect the Land, the Trees, the Forest for another 100 years so our next generations, them too, will benefit from what we had benefited before. By doing this we hope to protect a way of life so that unborn children, indigenous and non-indigenous, can have a bright future.
