About Share and Repair
Share and Repair is a rapidly growing charity in Bath and North East Somerset. Our aims are to help local people save money and the planet by reducing, repairing and reusing. We do this by running regular Repair Cafes in and around Bath where people can bring broken items to be repaired by our volunteers. We also have a Library of Things, located in the Share and Repair Shop in Bath, which lends out items such as DIY and power tools and camping equipment - the things you only need to use now and again - for a small fee. We also run HOW TO workshops where our volunteers pass on their knowledge to help people learn how to mend things themselves. By sharing and repairing we are preventing items from being thrown into landfill and changing consumption behaviours.
