About Share Necessities

Share Necessities is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization teaching mindfulness, yoga, and wellness to at-risk youth in South Central LA. It’s our mission to “Bring Inner Peace to the Streets” with our youth education programs, urban garden, and community center. We are dedicated to empowering individuals and families by providing the tools to build health, confidence, and transformation in one of Los Angeles’ most underserved communities. Regardless of circumstance, everyone deserves the opportunity of positive self-discovery. Yoga and core mindfulness are tools we use to build our bodies, our minds, and our spirit. It’s no secret that when we feel our best, we give our best. We believe change starts from the inside out, a healthy body and mind lead to a more positive life. Share Necessities provides children and young adults with the skills and experience to live a well-balanced life. Understanding ourselves is essential to realizing our full potential. Our program inspires student to dream of new possibilities, create opportunities, and practice self-love. With our support and guidance, students are given an opportunity to discover new life paths.
