Respect, Love, Save — Sharks Sharkproject's ultimate goal and vision: intact shark populations worldwide Sharkproject wants to achieve its vision through three missions: Protection, Education and Cooperation Sharkproject International is the umbrella organisation for all country organisations and ambassadors and registered as a charity in Switzerland. Besides the representatives of the country organisations, Sharkproject International is set up with individual members, an executive board and a policy and advocacy department, International Cooperation. International Cooperation advocates at national and international level with policy makers and governments and represents Sharkproject’s policies at international conferences, IUCN, RFMOs, CITES and other governance bodies. It also represents Sharkproject in coalitions and conservation forums. International Cooperation cooperates with other environmental NGOs and marine conservation partners at national, regional and international level. “Together we are stronger” is our mantra for increased effectiveness of marine conservation efforts and for the success of joined campaigns, which we support or initiate at global and/or regional level - for more protection of our oceans and better conservation of sharks and rays, which are in desperate need of better protection if we don’t want to run the risk to lose more than a third of them within the next few decades - forever.
