Shave & Gibson’s story began in 1981 when brothers-in-law, Alan Gibson and Neville Shave, purchased a small company called Group Print & Packaging which laid the company’s foundations. The company was acquired by its current Chairman, Simon Downes in 2005. Since the purchase of Stradprint in 1995, Shave and Gibson has grown into the leading supplier of security printing products to the banking, retail, tele-communications sectors and to many government departments in South Africa and Africa. From the beginning, the business has been built on the cornerstones of customer satisfaction, innovation, production quality and continued technological advancement. Our people are the mainstay of our success and the company is committed to employee growth through ongoing training both internally and externally.
