About Shaw Farm CSA

We are certified organic, and have been since 1997. We pick nearly all the produce on the day you pick it up and wash and refrigerate it immediately. We then put it into coolers for you to pick up. We believe that you can't get better than our produce. We are a small farm that only does a 55 member CSA, which means you get the highest quality and you don't have to worry that we're selling some of the produce somewhere else. We choose to be a small CSA in order to focus on quality and improving the soil over time, and to be able to personally get to know our members. We encourage, but don't require our members to get involved in other ways that build community and support the creation of a more sustainable food system. As a small CSA we can do many things with human power on a human scale, instead of using our tractors for every task and burning fossil fuels.
