We provide electrical engineering consultancy and services to designers, installers, operators and maintainers of electrical plant and equipment, throughout the lifecycle of the equipment from conceptual design through to end-of-life: Design – Construct – Commission – Operate - Maintain Design: • Identification of requirements • Power system analysis • Specification of equipment • Protection configuration and coordination • Design review Construct: • Review Inspection & Test plans for Quality Assurance • Attend and witness Factory & Site Acceptance tests • Undertake snagging and construction oversight • Contractor & supply chain liaison • Provide Owner’s Engineer services Commission: • Produce and/or review commissioning plans • Witness commissioning tests • Undertake commissioning of electrical supply systems • Produce plant drawings • Capture system performance data • Analysis of Power Quality performance Operate: • Compliance reviews; Electricity at Work Regulations, Electrical Safety Management, SCR, COMAH (as applicable) • Periodic review for DSEAR/ATEX and flammable atmosphere hazards • Development and assessment of competence for application of Electrical Safety Rules • Periodic fault level, loadflow, protection coordination and arc flash analysis Maintain: • Asset inspections • Asset condition assessment • Identification of necessary remedial actions • Identification or review of Examination, Maintenance, Inspection and Test (EMIT) requirements • Oversight and witnessing of EMIT as required • Electrical Asset Management policy development, guidance and instruction creation
