About Shawarma Jeddo
Jeddo' is the Arabic word for grandfather. Jeddo was born in 1919. He always had a passion for cooking and a particular fondness for Lebanese cuisine. He decided to follow his dreams at the age of 23 and opened a restaurant in the heart of Beirut. The restaurant was well-known for serving traditional Lebanese cuisine and the best shawarma. During the civil war, however, the restaurant closed. Jeddo never gave up hope on reopening it. Years passed, and his grandchildren, inspired by his passion and determination to carry on his legacy, wanted to realize his dream. He passed on his secret recipe to them. In 2022, on Jeddo's 103rd birthday, they finally fulfilled his dream by opening 'Shawarma Jeddo' in Dubai. They promise to serve happiness with every bite, just as their grandfather did for many years.
