The SHE Will Foundation was founded on the principal of believing that empowerment is fostered in mutual trust, shared competencies, self-awareness, and the desire to promote and encourage the tenacity of all women. Founded by Dr. Sherita McQueen in 2017, the SHE Will Foundation blossomed from her strong belief that “When women support each other incredible things happen”. Dr. Sherita felt there was a need in the community that was not being met and, through her own experiences, there was a lack of support from women for women. The SHE Will Foundation empowers and supports women to change their financial status, improve their health and well-being, and to become an agent of change in their homes and their communities. By empowering women with education, skills, knowledge, and resources, SHE Will Foundation is able to create sustainable change for all women, their family, and their communities. SHE Will aims to be a driving force within the local communities of women and women’s rights, providing a collective voice, influencing and transforming the lives of women every day. Women working together is key for strengthening, empowering, uplifting, and encouraging all women to get involved, get informed and use her voice as her sister’s keeper and strongest advocate. By working to advance women and girls, communities will be elevated since women give back significantly to their families & communities. SHE Will Foundation highlights and invests in women to build character, hope, and inspiration to set and achieve lifetime goals and realize their full potential.
