About Shee Creates Theater Company
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, SheeCreates believes that storytelling is a pathway to healing, justice, and transformation. We are a wellness-centered theater company and creative hub that empowers women, girls, and marginalized communities to reclaim their voices and reimagine their futures. Through innovative productions, workshops, and community-driven programs, we use art as a tool for healing trauma, reducing stigma, and catalyzing social change. Our work sits at the intersection of faith, recovery, and creativity. From embodied storytelling projects like SheeKRUMPS: A Testimony in Motion to leadership coaching and arts-based healing retreats, SheeCreates builds spaces where individuals can move through their stories, not just tell them. What makes us different: We center wellness, transformation and recovery in every program, creating spaces of belonging and safety. We partner with churches, theaters, and grassroots organizations to amplify authentic voices often excluded from traditional platforms. We elevate stories of women, Black communities, and people living with trauma, disability, or neurodiversity, reminding the world that art is not just performance—it’s survival, rebirth, and resistance.
