Offering home-like setting to mothers in crisis, we strive to provide the best possible environment to ensure the safe arrival of healthy babies. Our program is designed to make a positive difference in their lives by promoting a healthy pregnancy, improved decision making, and progress to independent living. Sheltering Grace Ministry, Ltd. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit ministry headquartered in Marietta, GA that was founded in response to the alarming number of homeless women with unexpected pregnancies in the Atlanta Metro area. Our goal is to interrupt the social and economic patterns that lead to homelessness and the resulting effects on a woman’s family and on her community. We resolve the initial crisis of homelessness by providing a safe place to live during pregnancy and by providing mothers with the tools they need to improve decision making, to enhance employment options and increase family income, to act responsibly as the head of their household, and to develop the self reliance to progress to permanent independent living.
