Shepherd Chartered Surveyors is a national surveying practice dating back to 1880 with 35 offices and 350 members of staff, with in excess of 200 chartered surveyors made up of Residential and Commercial Valuers, Property Agents and Managers. In 2016 Shepherd merged with Hardies to form a practice unrivalled in the ability to offer a truly multi disciplinary surveying and construction services business across the UK. In December 2024 another merger & acquisition was successfully completed when Whyte & Barrie Chartered Surveyors were integrated into the Firm. Both Shepherd and Hardies have retained their identities under the merger with Hardies specialising in Building and Quantity Surveying, Construction Services and Project Management while Shepherd specialises in Residential and Commercial Valuation, Commercial Agency, Lease advisory, Compulsory Purchase, Rating, EPC’s and Property Management
