Sherwood is an event and entertainment industry leader, dedicated to delivering “old school” service excellence using creativity and innovative solutions. Since its inception, Sherwood has consistently grown in capacity and capability so that today it owns one of the most advanced inventories of production equipment in Ontario. It also houses a spacious showroom filled with musical instruments, AV, Recording and DJ equipment, and offers a full range of services that includes onsite repairs and installation, private teaching facilities, as well as a wide range of rental solutions. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and here to look after all your needs. They understand the business inside and out as they are a representation of our customers, being musicians, Installers, DJs, engineers, and technicians themselves. Every year, some of Canada’s most recognized and respected corporate customers, and international musical artists, make Sherwood their provider of choice. Sherwood began operations in October 1969 as one of the regions very first music stores. In 1990, the production division of the business became a separately owned and independently operated company specializing in audio, lighting, video, and staging. For the next 25 years, Sherwood Music and Sherwood Systems worked in cooperation with one another to build close ties and develop strong working relationships with clients by serving their musical and production needs. CURRENT HISTORY: In 2015, Sherwood Systems and Sherwood Music became one and rebranded simply as Sherwood. 2015 was filed with substantial renovations, new hires and expanded operations, which included the sale and service of musical instruments into its existing stable of top-of-the-line product lines and services. GENERAL: We are a leading audio, video, lighting and staging company providing sales, rentals, repairs, installation and production services for entertainment, educational, religious and corporate markets.
