ShetheKranti is a feminist campaign that aims to catalyze discourses on gender and sexuality issues that affect the Nepali youth. We intend to work with young students, primarily 8th to 12th graders. Our goal is to both create a space for them to reflect and share how they are affected by gender and sexual policing practices as well as raise awareness and help them deconstruct such harmful norms upheld in schools and society alike. In doing so, we seek to also invite guest speakers and panelists with expertise on the specific topics that are discussed.
