About Shiatzy Chen
Established in Taiwan since 1978, SHIATZY CHEN Fashion Corporation is dedicated to the design and production of premium women’s apparel. In 1987, the men’s collection was officially launched. Since the 1990’s SHIATZY CHEN founded a Paris atelier modifying and perfecting its designs and techniques. The establishment of a Paris atelier enabled SHIATZY CHEN to recruit European professionals from the fashion capital. Employees were trained and dispatched to Europe to understand and learn the latest trends and techniques in fashion. In December 2001, SHIATZY CHEN officially launched its store in Paris alongside many preeminent fashion brands in the luxury shopping district of Rue St. Honoré. In May 2003, SHIATZY CHEN’s made its initial entry into China with the establishment of a sales location in Jinjiang business district of Shanghai. Garnering tremendous support from an international and local clientele, SHIATZY CHEN sought to expand its locations by establishing branches in Hong Kong, Beijing, and Qingdao. Several months later in August, the Taipei flagship store of SHIATZY CHEN designed by internationally acclaimed and celebrated architect Jaya Ibrahim was opened in the Zhongshan District.
