SHIFT works with you, your rehabilitation team, and your location to choose the best facility to meet the goals of the program and needs of the client. The facility can be your home, a community recreational facility, or outdoors in a location closest to your residence. Our goal is to make it easy and accessible for you to participate fully in your treatment program, without causing more stress on your day. We come to you. Now servicing the Okanagan Valley: Vernon, Kelowna, Lake Country, Armstrong, Enderby, West Kelowna, Peachland, and Summerland. SHIFT offers numerous programs and services to meet the needs of the client and goals of the rehabilitation program: Active Therapy, Hydrotherapy, Cognitive Rehabilitation, Community Re-Integration, Functional/Home Training, Stroke Recovery, Work Conditioning/Hardening, and Activation Programs. We are Registered Kinesiologists who work within a multidisciplinary team of professionals in the field: Doctors, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Vocational Rehabilitation Consultants, Case Managers, Adjusters, and Lawyers. SHIFT is a private company that works with you, your extended health benefits, and/or insurance providers to meet your needs. We provide direct billing and no user fees for the client if approved. We also offer private client billing if there is no extended coverage.
