About Shiloh Community Housing
Shiloh Community Housing, Inc. (SCHI), mission is to develop the local community by extending ministry into the heart of the Anchorage, Alaska community through housing development, shelter for the homeless, economic planning, social support and outreach to the disadvantaged, which will enable them to live healthy and productive lives as informed community residents. Our vision is to remove the barriers to safe, affordable housing such as age, income/sustainable employment; lack of education/under-educated; and training/skills which would prevent a person from ever obtaining sustainability and acquiring permanent housing. Our focus are the underserved communities of Anchorage, Alaska. We are destined to provide services to this community no matter where they are located. Our focus is community residents that are experiencing homelessness, those that need an advocate for services, equability in employment, housing, etc.
