Shine Bright (NS) CIC is a Community Interest Company based in Leeds, West Yorkshire that was converted in 2021 in response to the increased social, emotional and mental health needs within our communities, due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Founder Nicola Swales explains, “Our vision is to provide early help and preventative support that helps communities to overcome a broad range of wellbeing issues that could, if not addressed lead to crisis or have adverse effects upon their health, life choices, capacity and aspirations.” We believe that it is imperative that we protect and empower our communities by equipping them with the tools to build resilience, to self-care and reach their full potential.” Shine Bright supports all communities equally, from children, young people to their families. We deliver accessible therapeutic wellbeing support for children and young people, 0 – 25yrs old and their families. We provide a range of individual, group, parenting and family support utilising communities’ strengths to attain wellness for themselves and others. In partnership communities can learn how to support themselves and each other to shine brightly, manage their wellness, advocate for themselves and prevent crisis.
