About Shine Cymru

Shine Cymru has been set up by Gavin Singleton and Hayley Evans, who both previously worked for Careers Wales for nearly 20 years. Gavin has extensive experience in business engagement, networking, organisation of work placements for individuals aged 15+ and is trained to carry out health and safety checks. Gavin is qualified in advice and guidance and provides extensive support to individuals with various needs via group sessions and 1 to 1 meetings including life skills, employability and motivation. Hayley is a qualified Learning Difficulty and or Disability Careers Adviser who has supported young people, their families and partner organisations to source and access appropriate provision. Hayley also has experience in assessing young people's needs and advocating on behalf of them to ensure that appropriate provision/support was put in place. Hayley has worked along side a range of establishments including specialist schools/colleges, out of county specialist provision and supported employment agencies. Hayley has worked with a varied range of clients, with mild to complex learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
