We are proud to be one of a small number of independent insurance brokers in the UK, who have been providing unbiased insurance advice and finance since 1986 to businesses and individuals. We specialise in meeting the needs & requirements of Veterinary businesses, their employees, stakeholders & partners. Shire Veterinary Insurance & Finance Brokers is a trading name of Shire Insurance Services Ltd (SIS). Formed in 2009 and expanded with the acquisition of VIA (Veterinary Insurance Agency) in 2010. During the past 10 years we have continued to grow, which has allowed us to develop a number of specific insurance and financial products. We expanded into the private medical and employee benefit sector, several years ago. Our dedicated health & wellbeing team, offer clients tailored employee benefit schemes, private medical insurance and employee perks packages. Great care and attention is taken in the selection of the underwriters with whom we deal, ensuring depth of cover, comprehensive policies and competitive premiums. We have our own dedicated in-house claims team. We have raised millions of pounds, to assist in the setting up and development of new veterinary practices, all over the UK. Our friendly team is highly experienced - many have them have worked with us since VIA was incorporated into the business and all are either CII certified or working towards their professional qualifications. We are trusted by our clients to always give them the best advice, service and customer care we can and to uphold our principals that have been in place since the beginning. Our knowledge of the veterinary sector is considerable. This allows us to offer truly independent advice that is entirely appropriate and most importantly relevant to your business and it's needs.
