S H I R G A is a brand created in 2017 for the galician designers Iria Fernandez and Anxo Alberte Otero This borns from the necessity to express their way to understand the world through their creations. In S H I R G A we are really conscius of the damage that the mining of extraction causes to the societies and ecosystems arround the planet, for this reason our jewels are free of metals from extraction mining. For it we get recycled certifiqued metals or are we who recycle them through a buy and refinement procees. We try always to create the less possible impact with our activity, for this we have no stocks and we only work under order. Something that under our criteria help to reduce the pollution and the energy expenditure, and also favor to increase our quality standars. Many of our designs are inspired in our land,Galicia. One region charged of misticism and leyend. Heeled and whipped by the atlantic ocen in the northwest of the iberian peninsula. The nature of this region and also elements, geometries and natural compositions in all around the globe inspire us when we create. Thanks to our life and work experiences along europe, our way to design and techniches have been influenced by the style and way to do in countries like Poland, Germany and France. Countrys in which we have learned great part of our knowledge in jewelry and design.
