Established in 2012, Shock and Awe Entertainment’s mission is to create, acquire, develop, produce, market, and distribute a broad range of popular motion pictures, music, and entertainment around the world. Jonathan Watkins, co-founder, and 2007 graduate of Howard University’s renowned School of Business, provides Shock and Awe Entertainment with a wealth of business knowledge along with over ten years of experience in the entertainment industry. Mr. Watkins has participated in all phases of film production including co-writing several feature length screenplays and was once a leading promoter for some of Washington D.C.’s most popular night clubs. Mr. Watkins’ experience as a Budget Analyst provides Shock and Awe Entertainment with the ability to plan, execute, and manage multi-million dollar budgets. Steven Wilson, co-founder, provides the vision for Shock and Awe Entertainment's music future. A locally renowned producer and recording artists, his experience as a public school teacher has allowed him to stay up to date with recent trends in music, movies, fashion, and countless aspects of popular culture. Along with co-writing several screenplays with Jonathan Watkins, Mr. Wilson has produced over 300 music instrumentals of various genres.
