For the past 19 years Scott has treated/trained several disciplines of professional and Olympic Athletes. He is best known internationally for his work in strength/power sports and is renowned for treating the world’s largest athletes. In 2001 he began training his Athletes “functionally” using strongman implements. Together with treatment, results have produced numerous personal bests, World championship titles, World records, and Olympic medals. Initially specializing in fascial release and biomechanical coaching, Scott became one of North America's most experienced shockwave therapy practitioners with over 20 million shocks delivered to date. Over the past 5 years, he has applied shockwave technology to releasing fascia and joints. This approach has developed into a technique called P.A.R. (Pulse Activated Release). For the past year Scott has been teaching this technique to practitioners across the country and has been published in "Canadian Chiropractor" and "Massage Canada" magazines. Recently, Scott has become Canada’s first Noraxon certified Surface EMG Technician. With full wireless surface electromyography capability, 3D Myo Motion Video and pressure plate technology, Scott is now able to demonstrate the effectiveness of shockwave with quantitative data.
