With many journeys to Nairobi, Kenya, James and Kris shared a love for the jewelry of James' home country. James & Kris decided to design unisex jewelry that pays homage to both of their backgrounds and home countries...merging Kenyan traditional design with a modern & eclectic twist that pays homage to the Southern culture of the US. After being partially designed by the Kamawes our jewelry is then made by Kenyan craftspeople and artisans. By structuring our small business this way, we are able to provide financial stability and independence to craftspeople and artisans living in Kenya. Our Jewelry is also bridging the gap between true traditional Kenyan design and modern unisex diaspora style that is comfortable to wear for all.
