Born in response to the increasing epidemic of homelessness and excessive food waste in the United States, Shoulders of Atlas focuses on advancing the food recovery movement. Food recovery is rescuing surplus food that would otherwise be wasted and giving it to nonprofit parntering agencies in the Chicagoland area.
