Designated by the American Burn Association and the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma as a verified pediatric burn care center, Shriners Children’s Texas provides highly specialized acute, reconstructive and rehabilitative care for children with burns and other soft tissue conditions. Inpatient and outpatient units are designed to allow children to recover in a safe, family-centered environment along the continuum of their care. Sub-acute care and inpatient rehabilitation services are available for patients who have suffered an illness or accident that requires specialized care. Children up to age 18 receive all treatment and services regardless of the families’ ability to pay.
