About Shriners Children’s Greenville
Welcome to Shriners Children's. We are part of an international health care systeThe hospital’s medical staff includes board certified pediatric orthopedic surgeonm dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing pediatric specialty care, innovative research and outstanding teaching programs. Since 1927, we have been caring for children with a wide range of orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions. Our multi-disciplinary approach to care enables us to customize each child’s treatment plan to best meet their medical needs. We are home to the largest team of pediatric orthopedic surgeons in the Carolinas. The medical team is supported by residents, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, prosthetists, orthotists, therapists, nurses and more than 65 consultants, each of whom play an essential role in our comprehensive approach to care. We have an in-house prosthetics and orthotics provider, a motion analysis laboratory, a radiology department and a physical and occupational therapy department. All of these services are located under one roof in an effort to coordinate your child’s care in the best and most efficient way possible. Our Mission • Provide the highest quality care to children with neuromusculoskeletal conditions and other special health care needs within a compassionate, family-centered and collaborative care environment. • Provide for the education of physicians and other health care professionals. • Conduct research to discover new knowledge that improves the quality of care and quality of life of children and families.
