Sibstar is a groundbreaking Fintech driving financial inclusion for people with learning disabilities, dementia, mental health conditions and in addiction recovery. Our debit card and app enables these adults, who are in need of a little extra help, to manage and spend their money safely, avoid scams and overspending. Jayne Sibley, our founder, was driven to start Sibstar after caring for her mum and dad, who were living with dementia. With no way of helping them maintain their financial independence, Jayne decided to build a solution herself - Sibstar. How are we different? Sibstar is for anyone who’s finding managing money difficult. You can have the Sibstar card and app for yourself and by yourself. Or, if you are caring for a loved one who needs some help, they can have the Sibstar card, and you can have the app. In the Sibstar app, you can set your daily, monthly and cashpoint limits. Switch on/off cashpoint withdrawals, online & phone use. You can even receive real-time notifications, set a daily auto top-up and freeze/unfreeze the card. All this can be changed instantly and remotely at any time, so Sibstar meets your changing needs. We are multi-award winning, and you may recognise us from our successful pitch in Dragons’ Den!
