We are Siċaŋġu. We see a world where we are healthy and whole in body, mind, and spirit connected to the earth, stars, and all our relations. We are living that world into being. We do this with a holistic and interconnected approach that includes enterprise and business development, community initiatives in food, health, education, and housing, and for supporting tribal citizens to build intergenerational wealth. Our work is based on the Rosebud Reservation -- the home of the Sicangu Lakota Oyate. Once home to a thriving economy, vibrant culture, and kinship-based society, the Sicangu way of life was decimated by colonization. Sicangu people now face some of the worst health, educational, and economic outcomes in the Western hemisphere. At Sicangu Co, we build on the strength of our ancestors and believe that our best days are still ahead of us. We are guided by the 7Gen Vision which challenges us to make decisions in the best interest of our great-grandchildren's great-grandchildren.
