We work seamlessly with the maître d’, banquet manager, photographer, and videographer to create a truly memorable celebration. The Sid Miller Dance Band has had the honor of performing for the Vice President of the United States, Joe Biden; former President of the United States, George W. Bush; and New York State Senator, Alphonse D’Amato. We’ve also performed for an array of celebrities, including superstar Tina Fey. We also played at the R&B Foundation Awards VIP Party, honoring such greats as Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Patti Labelle, legendary songwriters Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff, as well as the President of Motown, Berry Gordy. In addition, our band performed at the event honoring Grammy winner Burt Bachrach. Our musicians have played in the bands of The Roots, Jay-Z, Jill Scott, John Legend, Jennifer Hudson, Patti LaBelle, Aretha Franklin, Boyz 2 Men, The O’Jays, Kool & The Gang, Smokey Robinson, Herbie Hancock, and David Letterman’s House Band.
