About Sienos Grupė VšĮ

We are an organized group of people and have 3 main goals: 1. To provide direct humanitarian help for refugees and migrants who are in life-threatening situations. 2. To collect data about the situation of refugees and migrants at the Lithuanian-Belarusian border, especially of the ones that are pushed-back and the vulnerable groups: children, families, people with disabilities or sickness. 3. To communicate with border residents about the situation and seek for collaboration on keeping the lives of refugees and migrants safe by providing necessary humanitarian assistance. Our operating principles: HELP. We provide water, food, warm clothes, also medicines and bandages, if needed. MONITOR. We follow refugee and migrant FB groups and posts about the encounters with refugees and migrants, their situations, experiences of migration and push-backs. DOCUMENT. Having encountered refugees or migrants we collect certain information: country of origin, name, surname, contact. Thus, if needed, we can track their travel paths and help to find relatives and friends. REPORT. We help to reconnect with lost relatives and call medics, as needed.
