We perform advanced R&D on psychoactive drugs– from initial chemical design to various test stages and, finally, human testing and use. Zac has always had a fascination with the human brain (which is still less understood than deep space!) and the processes occuring within it which bring about the entirety of our personalities, perception and interaction with the Universe (if it's not simply a manifestation of our brain)… in essence, the brain IS our LIFE! We study responses to various drugs and stimulation techniques for the alteration of mood, ablation of pain, elimination of anxiety and correcting natural chemical imbalances responsible for pretty much every mental illness that exists. The fascination started when he first had "twighlight anesthesia" when having his wisdom teeth removed. The combination of a low-dose of Sodium Pentathol and Versed permitted an "alert" (responsive is a better term) Zac to be operated on with no recollection whatsoever afterwards. He could not stop thinking about how fascinating anesthesia or altered states of conciousness were and turned it into his passion and career. He says that while he may only be an inch further along the 5000 mile road to understanding the brain, this work has been the most rewarding and incredible of his life. In short, SIETEC utilizes the passion of our team to try to provide safer, more effective drugs with minimal side-effects, to the public or as contributions to ongoing research. We love what we do and are not ashamed to say we're really good at it!
