About Sigil Consulting DAO

Sigil is a new kind of company for a new kind of era. We are a decentralized organization drafting new standards of governance designed to help build the next generation of societies being engineered for a brighter future. We are building a set of services that will help new cities, nation states, and corporations design societies from the ground up that are open, distributed, decentralized, safe, and scalable. To do this, we have engineered a series of standards built atop principals we hold to be true. We affirm the unique sovereignty of the individual, the right to free speech, the power of democratic decentralized control, the necessity for accelerated innovation, and the need for safe and trustworthy communities. We believe in a brighter future, one exemplified by the rise of new communities and societies built on an up and coming Golden Age of advanced engineering and technological optimism. But we also believe that current power structures are outdated, corrupt, and unable to cope with the needs of a truly modern society. And so we build. But don't take our word for it. We are designing these systems to be inherently open, trustless, and autonomous with optimism in the human species built in. We believe that in a future of advanced artificial intelligence code really can be law, but that fact need not exclude or enslave the human spirit.
