SignPost Solutions Ltd (Signfix) have been in the Highways industry for over 40 years. During that period we have consistently been at the forefront in terms of innovation; from the original anti rotational sign fixing clip, which changed the way that all traffic signs are fitted, through passively safe sign masts, a concept originally introduced by SignPost Solutions in 1995, to our latest vandal and impact resistant traffic bollards; all of our ideas and developments have been designed to make a difference, in cost for our customers so that their budgets can go further but more importantly in safety for all road users. In 2008, Signpost Solutions Ltd was acquired by APT Controls to form part of the new APT Controls Group of businesses. APT Controls Ltd grew to be one of the country’s leading UK businesses within the vehicle movement and security markets. More recently on the 7 May 2014, SWARCO purchased 100% of the shares of the APT Group. SWARCO – the Austrian-based traffic technology corporation of Tyrolean entrepreneur Manfred Swarovski – is an international group providing the complete range of products, systems, services and solutions for road safety and intelligent traffic management. With almost five decades of experience in the industry, SWARCO supports the growing mobility needs of society with turnkey systems and solutions in road marking, urban and interurban traffic control, parking, public transport, detection, infomobility and energy-efficient, LED-based signaling and lighting technology. The Group consists of roughly 70 companies in 24 countries with a total staff of nearly 2500 employees and annual revenues of almost half a billion Euro. As a result of these acquisitions SignPost Solutions Ltd has maintained its name but proud to be part of the SWARCO group of companies.
