Sikh Lawyers Association is the first ever legal network for Sikh lawyers and students in the legal profession. Sikh Lawyers enacts one of the core principles of Sikhism 'Sewa' which means 'selfless-service'. Our Guru's teach us to be selfless and to help others that is exactly what Sikh Lawyers Association is about. Giving back to our community and the next generation of Sikh Lawyers. Sikh Lawyers does exactly that. It is a space where lawyers and students come together to help one another. Being a Sikh in the legal profession can be a difficult journey and often people don't go on to qualify because of the challenges the profession holds for us. The purpose of Sikh Lawyers is to assist students in the profession with pursing their career by gaining guidance and support they need from Sikh lawyers. Although we are a Sikh Lawyers Organisation we do not discriminate against any applicant on grounds of race, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion or disability when deciding.
