Since 1983, Silicon Designs has served as global industry experts in the design, development, and manufacture of commercial and inertial-grade MEMS DC accelerometer modules and chips with integral amplification. Our MEMS DC accelerometers and chips feature highly rugged designs for zero-to-medium frequency instrumentation requirements, with full-scale sensitivities from ±2 g to ±1000 g. Within standard ranges of ±2 g to ±400 g, most Silicon Designs MEMS DC accelerometers also continue to reliably perform within published specifications, including after exposures to 5000 g and in limited temperature exposures to +175°C. As the OEM of our own MEMS DC accelerometers and chips, Silicon Designs can provide exclusive benefits to our customers which are otherwise absent from the industry. All products are 100% built in-house at our state-of-the-art worldwide corporate headquarters and R&D center, located just outside of Seattle, Washington, and resulting in superb quality, added qualification capabilities, custom specifications, and private-label solutions -- all supplied with some of the industry’s shortest lead times.
