About Silicon Investor
One of the oldest and best-known financial forums around. If not THE oldest now. I was hired as a community administrator (glorified customer support rep with an attitude), was laid off, agreed to turn a similar but tiny site into a viable business, did so well I bought my former employer a year later, sold both companies to some Brits 3 years ago, and recently quit that company and rebought Silicon Investor. Advertisers, we're back and accessible, with an immensely desirable demographic (wealthy middle-aged folks who manage their own investments, often for a living, and have a strong propensity to click relevant ads and make purchases to help them be better investors) and the return of our attitude of preferring quality over quantity. We've got the smart people who matter. Let Yahoo and others have the rest.
