About Silky Oaks Children's Haven
Silky Oaks is a not-for-profit charity who help people experiencing vulnerability and disadvantage achieve hope for a brighter tomorrow. We are motivated by our vision 'to support people and communities to thrive'. Since 1940, we have responded to the needs of our community, providing a tailored range of high quality social care, therapeutic and early childhood services. Silky Oaks actively pursues strategic partnerships because we know that when we work with others who hold information, expertise, skills and resources that complement what we bring, our clients will benefit. We partner with clients, families and other organisations in service planning, delivery, evaluation and improvement. We also partner with funders, ambassadors and supporters in designing, promoting and expanding our services. We have a broad range of community services which include: - A Child Care Centre (based from 218 Manly Road, Manly Qld) - Youth Outreach Services (child safety referred service only) - Child, Youth & Families Therapy Services (child safety referred service only) - Child & Youth Residential Care Service (child safety referred service only) - Housing, Homelessness and Family Support Services (based from 218 Manly Road, Manly Qld) - An Opportunity Shop (based from 218 Manly Road, Manly Qld).
