Silver Curve provides digital signage consultancy and integration expertise for large and small projects in the digital media industry. Our team has twenty+ years of experience in this space, working with some of the UK’s most prestigious companies to realise their digital media ambitions. In 2013 Silver Curve launched Aperture, a new graphics engine for digital signage which enables the best of breed player software to run not on an expensive, hot, power-hungry PC, but on a solid state, small, cool, mobile phone chip, while still providing broadcast quality graphics to match the best PC systems. In 2017 we launched PixelPipe Signage, a cloud digital signage platform for SMEs. It is distributed through Scansource Inc across Europe. In 2017 we won the AV Award for Leisure and Hospitality for our deployment of PixelPipe Live to run the LED scoreboards at Lord's Cricket Ground in London. This project combines digital signage and show control to provide a system that is equally at home running live data to the board from the scoring system, Sky TV trucks and Hawkeye, and running playlists of content for corporate events and weddings. It has been designed to have no single points of failure, and low cost maintenance with its use of off the shelf computing hardware and more than 20 Raspberry Pis providing the IoT command and control system.
