Our joint venture with Independent Brokerage LLC, one of the leading neutral Customs Brokerage Houses in the United States has put us in apposition to offer export and import services, with in-house brokerage, at any of our 8 strategically located outlets in the continental U.S. As members of IATA, we partner with the world’s airlines to handle any airfreight shipment of any size from any point in the United States to any point worldwide. Fully FMC (Federal Maritime Commission) licensed as an OTI (Ocean Transport Intermediary) and a NVOCC, we are in a position to negotiate contracts with the steamship lines and issue our own, FMC approved Bill of Lading. Our project cargo division handles outsized, overweight, special-requirement shipments on a world-wide basis with global reach and expertise. Managing our customers’ Supply Chains is a value added service we offer to all clients. From planning a Just in Time strategy to minimize warehousing cost, to implementing a FIFO (First-In-First-Out) system for perishable items, both durable goods and food stuff, SLI is your One-Stop-Shop.
