In 1996 the company was aquired by MSC Software and Mr. Torvund became the Country Manager for the Nordic operation. For 10 years in this position he built a strong customer base for MSC in the Nordic Automotive, Aerospace and General Machinery sectors. Mr. Torvund has been member of the Nordic NAFEMS steering committee. In 2018 SimEvolution AS in Norway was merged with the Danish company SimEvolution A/S to form a strong reseller for MSC Software in Scandinavia (Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden).
