I am a Transport Planner working within the Transport Planning and Highways Design Industry since 2006. I am based in London and offering freelance Transport Planning Consultancy Services. I provide Transport Planning and Highway Design advice / solutions for land development and transport infrastructure schemes. I prepare reports to support planning applications (or the discharge of planning conditions), e.g. Transport Statements, Travel Plans, Construction Logistics Plans. I am use computer software for the assessment of existing and proposed highway networks, e.g. Junctions (PICADY & ARCADY) for priority control junctions, LinSig for signal junctions, and Vissim for microsimulation purposes. I have experience with the use of highway design software AutoCAD and GIS software, and the commissioning of traffic and car parking surveys. I have worked on residential or residential led mixed use development projects. However I have experience working on a wide range of non-residential land use projects, including foodstores, schools, solar and wind farm sites, working towards achieving planning consent or discharging planning conditions. I have experience of contributing the necessary transport evidence base at the earlier stages of planning such as feasibility stage and during land promotion (including for example through the Local Plan process). I have attended and spoken at planning committees and planning inquiries on behalf of Residents' Groups, Public Sector and Private Sector clients. I have also worked for private sector clients on successful planning appeals, providing representations in regards to reasons for refusal on highway grounds.
