About Simplexia

Simplexia is develops vaccine against herpes simplex virus type (HSV-2) infection, which is the most common sexually transmitted infection in the world. The infection causes genital herpes with painful and recurrent genital blisters. HSV-2 can also cause life-threatening encephalitis and meningitis in newborns and immunocompromised patients.
