Established in 2004 Simply Music delivers European Award-Winning music workshops and downloadable content for live music-making for music educators, children and young people. Highly commended for its use of technology in education by the European MEDEA Awards, which rewards excellence and creativity in media in education Simply Music designs and delivers programmes and downloadable content for music educators to enhance performance and musicianship skills in children and young people. Our on site workshops and downloadable models enable music educators and teachers to combine interactive technology and live performance through a fun-filled and engaging process. Our programmes are suited for children from as young as 4 years through to young adults. ‘Melody Maker’ iPad Workshops (8+ years) An interactive and engaging composition, songwriting and performance workshop for young people from 8+ years. This workshop provides an opportunity for young people to unleash their creativity, grow confidence in performance skills and working together to create their own signature sound. Designed to respond to young people’s familiarity with technology we use a blend of individual iPads, midi keyboards, electric guitars, bass guitars, mics, JAM HUBS, recording equipment and music software. We bring the technology and musicians to you. Our workshops are facilitated by professional musicians who arrive with our ‘silent rehearsal studios’ to your location.
