We have undertaken thousands of mental capacity assessments and COP3 reports. We can assess mental capacity for any welfare or financial decision. We regularly assess mental capacity for; COP3 reports for applications to the court of protection, social media and internet use, managing finances, creating an advanced decisions to refuse medical treatment, creating a Lasting Power of Attorney, making welfare decisions, deciding where to live, making a will (testamentary capacity), conducting court proceedings (capacity to litigate), marriage, engaging in sexual relations, the use of CCTV. Neil, our dedicated COP3 assessor is on hand to respond promptly to ensure that all COP3 reports are filed within 7 days of your instruction at a fixed fee of £450 (plus VAT). We never charge travel expenses, and cover all of England and Wales. It doesn’t matter whether you are in Cornwall or Cumbria, we’ve can help you. We also have a team of trained Social Workers (led and trained by Gary Crisp, our 0-25 Director) with experience of writing SEND social care reports for children and young people aged 0-25 years old. We accept Legal Aid instructions for EHCP appeals, and have trained our Social Workers specifically for these types of instruction.
