The Simpson family takes great pride in being family owned and operated since 1951. Three generations of Simpsons have paved the way to become the #1 GM Dealer in Orange County. Many of our employees have been with the dealership for over 20 years and our loyal customers date back to when the doors first opened. On March 8, 1951, Mason Si Sidney Simpson, grandfather of David Simpson, started the Simpson tradition in the city of South Gate with the General Motors Buick franchise. When Si passed away in 1976, the family legacy continued on through his two sons, Pete and Gary Simpson. In 1981 Pete passed away leaving Gary to continue the tradition. In 1992 Gary added the Oldsmobile franchise to the location which became Simpson Buick Oldsmobile. In March 1994, 43 years his grandfather started the business, David Simpson purchased the dealership from his father Gary. In November 1998, David purchased a second location in Fullerton which gave him the Pontiac and GMC franchises. Two years later, Simpson Buick Oldsmobile and Simpson Buick Pontiac GMC moved into a brand new facility in Buena Park. David continued the expansion by purchasing the Garden Grove Chevrolet dealership in December of 2011, followed by a second Chevrolet franchise in Irvine in February of 2016. With three GM dealerships in Orange County, we are dedicated to provide our communities with the services they need and the attention to detail that we have been known for since 1951.
